Vickie has been a part of
the Child Care Links'
family since 1985. She has watched us grow from
our tiny office in Convention Hall with 3 staff members,
to a small office on South Main near Carey Park, to our
present location with 6 staff members. She recalls
how we kept track of our day care providers on
a rolodex! We now have an intricate data base.

Doris has been the Executive Director of Child Care Links since 1985. While Doris is responsible for the administration of Link's programs, she enjoys assisting the staff by developing forms and computer programs to make their jobs easier. She developed computerized CACFP claim forms for child care providers to use in their home. These claim forms can be submitted by e-mailed to Child Care Links.
In an effort to have the
agency recognized as a community
resource in all nine counties that we serve, she was instrumental
in changing the agency name from Reno County Child Care
Association to Child Care Links.
Doris recognizes the efforts of early childhood teachers in homes and centers to offer quality child care and has led Child Care Links in programs to assist this effort.
When she isn't working, she enjoys golf and traveling with her husband, Ray.
